For Universidad EAN, it is important that applicants know in detail the aspects that interviewers will evaluate in the interview for admission to academic programs, so that they can prepare and participate actively in a setting that seeks to know and identify their compatibility with the program and the University.
The interview is the main step in the candidate’s admission process for Undergraduate programs, Postgraduate Diplomas and Master's degrees from Universidad EAN. It is done individually and lasts for approximately 30 to 45 minutes aiming to learn about the candidates and identify personal, academic and professional prospects in the program of choice.
The interview provides initial information about the applicant and is later added to by the academic processes and other areas which are in charge of monitoring and supporting the student's development at the university.
Universidad EAN has two types of interviews:
- Personal Interview: Full Time Programs.
- Telephone Interview: Distance Programs (If the applicant is not in Bogota)
For the interview, the candidate must hand in a photocopy of their identification document and two 3 x 4 cm photographs to the Admissions Office.
Universidad EAN has defined five fundamental competencies which a graduate of the university must possess.
The interviewer will determine the extent to which the applicant displays the above characteristics.
There are other factors to bear in mind depending on the program of choice. The results of the ICFES exam (or its equivalent) will be used in determining the evaluation for the admission of students to certain Undergraduate programs. Applicants to Postgraduate Diploma programs and Master's degrees are accepted based on their academic and professional background.
After the interview, the Contact Centre will inform the applicant of the University’s decision.
